Do I love you? I know you want to know. How can you tell if I love you seeew...well...it's in my links.
That's right my little quilt-lings...those "links" you see throughout our email and my blog? Those "links" - represent many hours of my life and my dedication to your convenience. But be warned, when I don't link...it's because I don't have what you desire most.
That's where it is ya'll.
Suddenly I hear a lot of Cher. Everyone to the dance floor. But please...no hugging and no squeezing. Thanks.
And if you're not using my "links" - as Cher croons, "you're not listening to all I say." And I always have a lot to say.
To celebrate the month of "Love" (yes, it's over in four days), I thought I would show you just a few of our quilts using a dash of red. I love how our Bitsy Buttons Quilt turned out above. How can you not love a Scotty dog? We ordered a ton of the Mama Said Sew collection by Sweetwater - seeew like... we still have some. But that's ok! It has a lot of great basic prints that stand the test of time seeew who knows what else you'll see ahead! In fact, I have this beautiful grey retro styled sofa at home that could use a stunning quilt. I just have to sabotage the Mothership's navigator to keep her grounded seeew she can sew.
Suddenly I'm an expert in aviation.
Next up...Red Daisy!
Could you just die?
Um...don't actually do it, just pretend.
Made with fabrics from American Jane's "Potluck" this is going down as one my all-time favorites. We also have a green and white version coming up - but I think I'll wait until March to show you that one. I told the "Mothership" last year that since "Boughs of Holly" is now our Christmas store, we will need a way to bring Christmas to the main Shoppe and this is definitely one of those quilts I could use.
Now I should know better than to do this to you, but next up are two quilts (which have sold out since I began this post) that I treasure. First up is Cabin Fever. The "Mothership" loves to combine textures into her quilts. With Cabin Fever she took the cottons, wovens and ikat of the Midwinter Red collection by Minick & Simpson to give the quilt a unique dash of character.
Holiday. Celebration. Come together...in every nation.
I just had to quote a Madonna song, it's been seeew long!
Mentioning her name on my blog is like yelling "Beetlejuice" three times.
Maybe if I mention her two more times my head will shrink?
At least it's not Miley.
By the way...if you just want to order patterns we can mail patterns with $1.90 postage. Our website will always generate a fee based on Flat Rate Priority Mail envelopes, however it doesn't know when it's just a pattern and when it's fabric. We can always adjust your order before charging your card. With the rise of PDF pattern formats and everyone sharing patterns, we have cut back on how many extra patterns we carry.
Now...hold onto your Jelly Rolls.
I am going to leave you with a sneak peak at one of our upcoming holiday collections from Anne Sutton of Bunny Hill Designs called "Winter Wonderland."
If you don't love this...we need to talk.
Classic red and white with the cutest bunch of snowmen EVER.
And the truck.
My goodness Mary Ellen...the TRUCK!
How we doin'? Everyone still breathing? Pearls still in tact? Hair still perfectly in place?
Anyway, we will have kits for Wish Upon A Star....
And Christmas Wheels!
The collection isn't due until April/May but I thought I would drive you crazy now. Just remember... it will be in my "links."
If you feel anxious and obsessive, my job has been done.
That's all...for now. ~ Brian
